At Vesperis ("we", "the app") we respect your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you use our app, how it is used, and how it is protected.

Vesperis does not require account creation. The following information is collected automatically:

• Device Identifier: A randomly generated unique UUID so the app can recognise your device. It is not linked to your personal information.
• Platform Info: Operating system (iOS/Android) and app version.
• Usage Data: Listening times, favourite content and preferences (notification time, language choice).
• Download Records: A list of content you have downloaded for offline use.

The collected information is used solely to:

• Personalise your app experience (preferences, statistics)
• Improve content recommendations
• Detect and resolve technical issues
• Manage your subscription status

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Data may only be shared in the following cases:

• Payment Processing: For Apple App Store and Google Play Store subscription verification (via RevenueCat).
• Legal Requirements: In response to a court order or legal obligation.

Your data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Device tokens are kept in secure storage. Our servers are protected with industry-standard security measures.

Usage data is retained while your account (device record) is active. Deleting the app removes all local data from your device. To request deletion of server-side data, please contact us.

Vesperis does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you become aware that data from a child under 13 has been collected, please contact us.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced via in-app notification.
